Mark Allegretti
Mark Allegretti founded New Frontier Capital Advisors with the focus of creating one of the world’s leading advisory firms dedicated to frontier markets. Mr. Allegretti oversees the firm’s strategic direction and advisory assignments. Prior to New Frontier, Mr. Allegretti was a Partner and Managing Director at an emerging markets focused investment bank based in New York. With over 18 years of Wall Street experience, Mr. Allegretti has extensive capital structure expertise and execution skills. He has played key roles in over 35 lead-managed deals that have raised more than $20 billion in financing for clients operating across multiple industries and sectors. In recent years, Mr. Allegretti has led several ground-breaking transactions across various emerging markets, including Africa, Central & Eastern Europe, and Asia. Mr. Allegretti has held investment banking and capital markets positions at a number of leading financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Chase Securities. A respected voice in emerging markets, Mr. Allegretti has given speeches and served on private equity and capital markets panels at international conferences and forums held in Europe and Africa and he has also spoken at Harvard Business School and Wharton. After receiving his B.A. from Colgate University, Mr. Allegretti began his career providing analysis for the investment portfolio of Mr. Ralph Wilson, owner of the Buffalo Bills NFL franchise.
